Until further notice, most front desk lobby and reception areas across the Pima County Sheriff’s Department will be closed to the public
to reduce the possibility of Covid-19 spreading to personnel and inmates in our facilities.

In order to meet statutory and court mandated services, the Civil Unit, Forensics Unit, Vehicle Impoundment Unit, and the Property and Evidence Unit lobbies will remain open.
Please use telephonic and electronic communication. These steps taken are intended to support current CDC guidance regarding appropriate social distancing,
and limiting unnecessary close contact with persons.

A Note From Your Sheriff

Sheriff Mark Napier was elected as the 34th Sheriff of Pima County on January 1, 2017. He is a decorated law enforcement leader.  He has received the Medal of Merit twice, the Medal of Service, the Chief of Police Citation of Excellence, the Unit Medal, the Retirement Medal and the Magnus Leadership Medal.
